I am a woman with many hats. When you get Victoria Blisse you actually get many different aspects of that one woman. I’ve already written about Eroticon from an author’s point of view, today I’m writing about it with my event organising, smut peddling head on.

I can’t deny it people, part of my motivation for hitting eroticon 2017 was to get my events out to all you wonderfully smutty people. We’re always looking for new folks to come along to our experience afternoons and all day writing/reading events.  As it happens, the Queen of Smut (that’s me) got so much more from this amazing weekend.

One of the major things we want to achieve with our Smut events is a place for people to be themselves, to talk freely about their work and have no judgement thrust upon them because of it. I saw this happening in bucketloads at Eroticon. People talking about all aspects of sex and not a single eyebrow raised or hand clapped to mouth in prudish shock.

It is so good to be amongst people who *get* you and get how important and awesome sex in all its guises actually is.

With my business head on I really appreciated what an amazing job Molly, Michael and Girl on the Net did at bringing together such a big, diverse event together. It’s not easy organising any event but add multiple venues and multiple days and it becomes all the more complicated. It was achieved with great aplomb. Everything ran smoothly as far as I could see.

I got lots of opportunity to hob nob with the sponsors as we all shared a corridor. It was really good to chat to them all. Here’s a little bit about all of them and their awesome products which you should most *definitely* check out.

Fuck.com

Sex positive dating on the most amazing named website ever. Miguel and Mark were wonderful company and there’s going to be lots of smut and fuck crossover in the near future. I especially loved my Fuck.com T-shirt which is not only comfy it’s cute and sexy too.

Ceramic Pleasure

Beautiful ceramic dildoes of all shapes and sizes – proper artistic works of art that come in a beautiful container with a certificate of authentification. If you want something a bit different or even something you can display in your living room as art then you need to get something from Ceramic Pleasure.

Hot Octopuss

Providers of amazingly stylish t-shirts (great for wearing to Zumba I must say) and a truly unique vibrator too. Check out the Pulse III – it’s multipurpose which is definitely a good thing.

Ruby Glow

I’m incredibly proud of my fellow Brit Babe Tabitha Rayne and her sex toy! Yep, she invented the Ruby Glow and was running the stand all weekend. It’s always a pleasure to catch up with her and there’s plenty of pleasure to be found in the unique and amazing Ruby Glow. Fabulous for us sexy writer types as we can get off as we type.

Doxy

Everybody loves doxy. There was a hugely loud roar at one held aloft during Ros Balliger’s Idiot’s guide to kink during Saturday night’s entertainment.  A doxy rips an orgasm from your body without asking or any kind of preamble. All people should own one. Definitely. I didn’t get a photo of Will and his amazing stall but we did get donated this sparkly white beauty as a prize for our Erotic tombola. Oooh. If you’re at Smut Waxplay on the 1st April you could win it!

Godemiche

We’re big fans of Godemiche at Smut towers. Monika and Adam are wonderful and incredibly entertaining. You’re never bored with them around I can tell you but also they make the most beautiful handmade silicone dildos in almost every colour under the sun. Amazing. We also love their butt plug fridge magnets that look like innocent little fishies if you lay them on their side.

Sheets of San Francisco

I also caught up with Mark from Sheets of San Francisco and travelling companion, Elvis the adoreable bear. Made from one of their fluidproof sheets. Very cuddly…I mean Elvis of course! We’ve got 2 sheets for Smut Waxplay. A Black one and a new White one which we’re going to make into a unique work of art.

Kinkcraft

I’m glad to say Smut have been advocates for Kinkcraft since they started so it was great to catch up with Andrew and Pixie and get to make a gorgeously evil cane.  I love crafting, it’s wonderfully relaxing and it’s even better when you’re making something kinky!

There was a whole lot of networking going on, plans and plots for the future. I came back with generous donations to the tombola from all the awesome sponsors and spoke to lots of people about forthcoming smut events. The Queen of Smut was well in her element!

I’m going to publish my last blog on the experience this Friday. I’ll don my kinky dog collar and let you know what Reverend Blisse thought of Eroticon 2017. It’s okay, Rev. Blisse is kinky, there will be no condemnation here!
