I love Dr Sketchys, run by fun master Jay! I knew the vintage night was going to be awesome, because every other Sketchy’s has been and I was intrigued by the theme. We took a sample of our Smut UK wares with us to sell this time too.

I helped set up and make the place look vintage and wow. Kev helped and we ended up with this -ta da! I wasn’t performing on the night, but I know I look totally showbiz here. :)

The performers on the night were amazing. They always are but I think I really got into the vintage vibe this time. The first performance was super sexy and I had total dress envy!

vintage miss moxie

Miss Moxie was gorgeous and my best drawing by far was done for the cigarette card challenge featuring her, what do you think?

I loved Bea and her Bombshells and their really cheeky little routine to Christina Aguilera’s Candy Man (love that song!) as it was really fun and light-hearted and totally vintage.

Bea Noir, Gem, Harley Monster and Flexi Lexi were all amazing and I got to use my prize winning mouth to draw the very lovely Bea!

The last act was was the stunning Cece Sinclair who’s burlesque act was absolutely mesmerising!

We had to place this lovely lady onto an item that could have been used in the war. I knew straight away what I was going to pick – an airship!

It really was a fantastic night with lots of laughs so make sure you come along to the next one which has a theme of Fairy tales and will be held at Mantra Live! It’s a night I recommend to anyone. You don’t need to be good at art, I mean, have you seen my sketches? You can come and simply enjoy the acts if you want but it is fun to at least attempt to draw. It’s a really relaxed and chilled evening, the perfect way to wind down and have fun.
