Awaiting Artwork

Today’s poem was inspired by a flash of a photo I sent, purpose to tease. And In the accompanying message I mentioned that maybe I was flashing a blank canvas in need of bruises.

Awaiting Artwork

Just for you.

A gift.

My body, your canvas.

Blankly waiting

To be filled

red correction stripes

and highlights of yellow.

Sadistically drawn,

Skilfully built,

Coloured with painful precision.

Just the way you want it to be.

Seared into skin,

Signed with pride.

Your brutal artwork.

The photo flash I sent that inspired my poem
