How to Write Smut and get published!
4 Days from now I’ll be in Scarborough enjoying the hustle and bustle of Smut by the Sea the very first event of it’s smutty kind. In the run up to the reader and author day at Scarborough Library on the 22nd June and part of that is a panel helping you to publish your own erotic writings!
Four top notch erotica authors are going to let you into their writing and publishing secrets! Get the Scoop from Ashley Lister, Author of How to Write Erotic Fiction and Sex Scenes and KD Grace best selling Xcite Author. Then there’s head of Writer Marketing and fellow Smut Editor Lucy Felthouse and me, Victoria Blisse, Award winning Author and now an editor too. Between us we have many years of experience in the field and we’re going to share our knowledge with you. If you have a question, you’ll be able to ask it. This is an opportunity for all budding authors to find out more about writing in the erotic genre and even if you’re a reader who doesn’t fancy writing you may be intrigued to find out what goes on behind the scenes of the ebooks and physical books you read!
Smut by the Sea starts at 10am on the 22nd June at Scarborough Library. The daytime event is free and includes readings, a book launch, how to get your smut published and an erotic marketplace including the erotic tombola. It runs until 4pm then we close for a few hours to prepare for the evening extravaganza.
Smut by the Sea Book Launch happens from 6-9pm and includes Seaside Smut readings, Burlesque by Moorita Encandata and much more. Tickets are £10 and include a glass of something bubbly (or a non-alcoholic alternative), tasty biscuits and a Smutty Swag bag!
