I read a very poignant quote the other day. Rev.David Gray posts them all the time and I find them to be a great blessing. I loved this one so much that I made a pretty picture out of it.

Then I printed it out and hung it on my ‘strings of things.’ My Strings (well, ribbons) hang over my fireplace. I put them up their to put my Christmas cards on but I liked having them there so I decided to fill them after Christmas with random pictures and things that I love.

So I can read it and try to absorb it into my every day life. I’m pretty laid back and easy going, but even I get frustrated and annoyed sometimes. I waited in line at the post office for 20 minutes yesterday. I was more than a little grouchy about that but I got to see a man playing with a bunny hand puppet as he tried to decide on a childs book to buy and it made me smile. I got to chat with a charming little boy in his trolley and I had some time to think over stuff I needed to do.

There’s always a positive, I’m going to try and look for it and learn the lessons that each day brings.
