Readers, you’ve met Mr Spank before, when he did his extensive tour of Eroticon 2018 but today you’re going to learn more about him and how you can get your hands on your own Mr Spank!

Mr Spank is a custom engraved paddle from Grateful Pain which I was sent to test out and review it’s paddly attributes. Mr Spank also makes an awesome and eye-catching sign, we put him out with our tombola and he always gets lots of admiring looks.

Now, he’s quite a chunky paddle, full  length (including handle) is 40cm and the width is 11cm but when you pick up our paddle you’ll notice it isn’t incredibly heavy.

The writing on our paddle is engraved and then very  precisely painted to the colours we asked for. You can have your paddle engraved inversely so that whatever is written on it could leave an imprint on your skin and read the right way. We had it engraved so it reads the right way round on the paddle because we planned to use it as advertising not just for beatings.

Avalon Isle very kindly helped me try Mr Spank out, he’s such a lovely meanie.

He commented that the paddle was light and easy to wield and felt nice in the hand, he liked the way it handled.

From the other end I found the impacts to be pleasant. Sometimes I struggle with the pain from larger, wider paddles, there’s something about the all encompassing thump that I struggle to process, but  although Mr Spank is relatively wide, the impact isn’t teeth rattling.  In fact it’s quite a light impact. The pain radiates across the surface of my butt and leaves a nice sting.

There is definitely a difference between the flat side and the engraved side, there is added sting with  the edges of the engraving. I liked the impact from both, but if you don’t like sting with your thud, stay away from engraving. You can have the paddles without the engraving at all if that is your preference.

For me, being the big old masochist I am, this paddle sits nicely in the warm up toys end of the pool. It is light, more thumpy than deeply thuddy and with the engraving you have the option for extra sting. For the wielder, it’s light and easy to use making it a hit for the Top and the bottom, literally ;)

I would definitely say it’s a great addition to anyone’s kit bag.
