Feminine Curves with Casey Sheridan.

I’m sure most of us, if not all of us, have heard the saying, “Real women have curves.†But women aren’t the only ones with knockout curves.
“The curves were simply sensual, beautiful. Her hands caressed the hard body as they traveled over the smooth silken surface.” – from Ruby Red Metallic available at Breathless Press.
Yes, Alaina, my car thief in Ruby Red Metallic, appreciated the sensual curves of the cars she stole: Porsche 911 GT2, Dodge Viper SRT 10, Ford GT 40.
There’s many other cars that have sexy curves such as the Jaguar XK or XKR coupes or the Corvette, to name just two. Those curves make men turn their heads and stare, not just at women, but at the cars, too.
I can imagine some women out there are going to feel insulted for being compared to a car, but if you really think about it, it’s actually a compliment. How so?

Take the Porsche 911 GT2. Not only does it have great curves, but it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s refined, classy and sophisticated. What woman wouldn’t love to hear those things said about her?
Can you think of other ways that women and cars are alike?
Alaina knows her cars, and she doesn’t view what she does for a living as stealing. Using all the physical attributes she has at her disposal, she merely acquires the high-end vehicles for a business partner. Although the beautiful cars turn her on, she has her heart set on a particular gem. When she finds her jewel, Alaina is pleasantly surprised by its handsome owner, Scott.
Now she’s faced with a dilemma. Does she choose the man or the gem?
Available now from Breathless Press and all good eBook retailers.

I own a 1975 Corvette Stingray and her name is Lady Mara. She has killer curves and I think being compared to a curvy car like her is a compliment.
Course, I’m different than most women. I love Corvettes and would love to own a 1967 Corvette one day…it’s on my Bucket List.
Great post!
Your Corvette, Lady Mara, does indeed have killer curves, Renee. I’m she’s gorgeous (like you).
My grandmother had a 1953 Corvette, powder blue with white leather interior. My mom, a kid at the time, has some old black and white pics of her sitting in it.

“Can you think of other ways that women and cars are alike?”
This question just opens itself up a whole host of responses. From the obvious ones about curves, to the not-so-obvious ones about the way cars and women “ride”.
But, here’s a nice list by Tinamarie Bernard of examiner.com that gives you some ways women and cars are alike that you might not have thought of:
Start the ignition = give us a really good smooch
Fill up the tank = murmur in our ear just how much you love us
Wash the car = wash our hair
Change the oil = forego the quickie for some languid lovemaking
Change to oil filter = run your fingers through our hair and tell us how good it smells
Rotate tires = take care of dinner and the dishes for the night
Check air pressure = light some candles and put some smooth music on
Replace the windshield wipers/fluid = treat us to a massage, preferably from you
Regularly scheduled tune ups = feed us strawberries dipped in chocolate
Replace blown fuse = bring us breakfast in bed (you be part of the breakfast)
Transmission service = arrange for us to have a weekend day without children or responsibilities
Love your work Casey, and I hope that this book does well!!
What a great list!
You’re right I never thought of those things as being “like a woman”.
“Love your work Casey” – Thank you, John. Exactly what I needed to hear (or read) today.

Excellent post, Casey. I think no man would deny that every time he slips inside is pure bliss. Yes, I’m talking about getting in the car…I think I was anyway. ;)
Of course you were talking about slipping into a car. What else would you be talking about? ;)
Like the way your mind works, Mary.

LOL, great post! Women and cars, how are they alike? I’m not sure I can add to John’s comprehensive list, but I’ll try…
-they come in all shapes, sizes and colors
-purr when you ride them just right
-squeal if you come to a full stop
ok, i suck at this…I think readers have to buy your book to appreciate the true beauty of cars and women!

Eden, you did great! I especially like the “purr when you ride them right”. :D
