Brace Yourself, Love, I’m gonna take a run up. Smut by the Sea 2015 Round Up @talksmut

The Bank Holiday weekend was extra exciting this year as it played host to Smut by the Sea 2015 This year sponsored by Sexhibition. It was the third event held at Scarborough Library, who have been perfect hosts right from our first ever Smut event. Scarborough has a special place in my heart and as such I really look forward to our smutty trip there each year.

I had a bit of a panic setting up, as I always do, there’s always a point where I’m convinced we’ll never get everything set up and the whole thing’s going to be a disaster – that moment passed and I’m glad to say  Smut by the Sea 2015  went very smoothly indeed.

We started as we meant to go on with a reading slam filled with erotica reading talents! Anna Sky (A Smut reading virgin with a bright yellow ‘cunt’ t-shirt on. Yes. I said that word. The t-shirt was a thoughtful gift in case she struggled with it!), Slave Nano, Bella Settarra (Smut groupie and now regular smut reader), Helen J Perry and Ashe Barker took to the stage and got the day started with lots of simmeringly sexy short excerpts.

Our Mistress with the mostest was the ever lovely, Cara Sutra. Spanker extraordinaire. She even brought her own selection of spanking implements. Eager, I liked it!

Between all the sessions our smutty guests were welcome to check out the Erotic Market filled with goodies!

Bella Settarra had a table stuffed with smutty, handmade goodness. Even smut biscuits. I really wanted one, damn my gluten intolerance!

Cara Sutra brought on the kink and cakes! You could get a spanking and a cake at Cara’s stall..you could have them both at the same time if you so desired. Not to mention all the yummy goodies for sale, including her awesome beginners bondage kit at a wickedly wonderful price.

Cameryn Moore brought her typewriter and set up for some sidewalk smut as well as presenting an awesome workshop and joining in with a reading slam. Busy lady!

The Smut UK Book Stall was filled with sexy smut as per the usual!

And the Erotic Tombola was filled with awesome prizes from Uber Kinky, Nice N Naughty, Mimi Deluxe, Cara Sutra, Sex toys, Freek, Segzi, Sweetmeats Press, The Pantie Purse, Love Sex, Love Toys and Dark Rose Desires and manned by the sweet, sexy rogue that is Kev Blisse!

And in the entrance hall, you would always find the tea and coffee stall run by Sarah the Sexy Tea Lady, who also happens to be my sister. Lucky Gal.

In the entrance was the second of our smutverts covered in sexy books and awesome companies!

There was a cucumber involved, but it didn’t fair very well at all. Poor cucumber. It didn’t know what hit it. We did, about a bajillion nails. Ouchie.

I’m so thrilled that Bea and her amazing partner Jay (standing on her in the above pic) could make the day. Jay is a Creative Networker and makes stuff happen. You should check out Dr Sketchy Manchester which he runs. There’s one on the last Thursday of every month and it’s always a fun night!

The title of this blog is attributed to these two lovely people. I think that’s all I need to say about that!

Slave Nano  then hosted the first workshop ‘Kinking up the past’ and the evil man gave homework! Well, there was a local history exhibition going on down stairs. A perfect opportunity to practise what was learnt! Check out highlights in Nano’s event blog.

The Second Reading Slam featured Cara Sutra, Cameryn Moore, Ashley Lister, Etta Stark and Janine Ashbless.  I was official spanker for Cara, as she can’t spank herself! Ashley entertained us with midget porn and I think Janine enjoyed her spanking rather a lot!

After Lunch the gorgeous Blue Belle took the stage and gave us a Burlesque performance that perked us all up after our meals.

From slinky, smooth and sexy Blue Belle to wild, and hairy werewolves! Jennifer Denys gave a workshop on researching and writing werewolf stories and you can find the highlights in her blog on the subject. It sounds like it was very arooooowwwwwwwwwwsing.  Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Our third reading slam included snippets from Charlie J Forrest, Kiki De Lovely (all the way from the USA no less!), Jacqueline Brocker, Lisabet Sarai (over from South East Asia via Amsterdam) and Victoria Blisse...yep, lil’ol me. A delightful selection which ended with me getting quite the paddling. Well, I did have to get to the end of my paragraph!

That paddle hurts, hence the face, the ever so entertaining face. *LOL* I preferred the flogger. What? It’s not every day you’re able to get a spanking off Mistress Cara, I thought it worth getting 2 to keep me going!

Cameryn Moore , another far flung visitor, finished our day with her Phone Whore presentation which was thoroughly enjoyed. You should check her out, she’s smutty and all kinds of awesome. Catch a show if you can!
